What would you do?

What would you do in this situation?

You’ve discovered what has to be one of the best happy hours going around. Lets say $2.50 a stubbie for cascade premium (all day every day!) . It’s a fine pub as well with cheap food and a good beer garden. However the happy hour isnt advertised in the bar - only on the website. Also the manager is a bit apprehensive about too many people knowing about it.

Would you tell people (as in put it onĀ our website, newsletter, blog) therefore putting the actual happy hour in jepardy or would you keep it to yourself and bask in the tightarse cheapness of it all?

What would you do…what would you do..

  • Me, I’d hide information inside HTML comments.

Or just email people who comment on this blog entry with the information…. hint hint.

  • Quite the dilemma. I wouldn’t tell anybody until you get sick of the place then tell everyone

  • I would just tell me so we can enjoy a quiet cascade together without the other riff raff

  • Yeah I’d probably do the right thing by my fellow drinkers and tell everyone because management wont keep it there forever and anyone who frequents this site deserves a few cheap beers ;)

  • nooooooooooooooooooo! The drink special has gone…and I didn’t even have enough time to exploit it. The lesson I’ve learnt from this - Put everything on the site cos a good thing don’t last long in this game.

BTW - The pub was the british crown hotel (collingwood)
