There’s a beer in there

It’s a dark and stormy Thursday night and you feel like a beer. But not just any beer. Perhaps one from Argentina or Bolivia or French Canada. But where do you go?

What Melbourne venue has the best assortment of beer?

1. Lambs Go Bar - 135 Greeves ST, Fitzroy.

2. Beer DeLux – Federation Square.

3. European Bier Cafe – 120 Exhibition St, CBD.

4. Belgian Beer Cafe – ST Kilda Rd.

5. Stolberg Beer Cafe - 197 Plenty Rd, Preston.

The Deco Wine Bar in St.Georges Rd, North Fitzroy has about 50 beers from all over the place including heaps of Belgians, Victorian micro-brews, fruit beers – you name it. And Freds place, a pizza restaurant in Nicholson St North Carlton is but a front for a bar that stocks about 80 beers

I’m a little surprised that cookie is yet to mentioned. (Swanston street). Can be exy and a bit of a wank, but have had some beers there that I’ve yet to see elsewhere. Can’t disagree with the other places listed though.
