Our Website

Our site is currently down while we give it a complete going over. Basically it will be better to use, have more info inclusing trivia nights and speed dating, and thehappiesthour TV - where we will show you the various places. W e expect it to be online mid to late Feb.

We started www.thehappiesthour.com in March 2004, for all those people who wanted to buy more beer for their buck. In a time of increased “sin taxes”, we feel it is our duty to tell the public where the cheapest deals are around Australia.

    Just curious, I get your newsletter, but it would be good to have a link on the site (rather than just in the Newsletter) that lists all the permanent and temporary happy hours going on around town?

    Also would be good to have a permanent link/blog entry, where users could post happy hour deals or drink specials they come across, as there’s no way to get the word out to other readers, from your readers.

    for example, Automatic Cafe (at Crown complex, ground level) has half-price beers and half-price pizzas every Monday night.

    I’d also like to post a request that readers could reply to, requesting knowledge of any cheap drinks in Carlton/N. Carlton/E. Brunswick that anyone knows about.

    is it on this site but I’m just missing it?

    OK, i’m an idiot.

    will go have a look now…

    But in my defence, I got to this blog by clicking from the newsletter. So, when I saw “Home” up top on this page, i expected that would take me to all things HappyHour, not just all things HappyHourBlog.

    anyway, thanks for pointing it out.

    PS You should have just said “I’ve considered your suggestions, and this afternoon created and populated an entire website based on your ideas” that’s what I woulda done
